Gateway The Grove Show Apartment

Bold contemporary living in East London
Gateway approached us to design the one bed show apartment at ‘The Grove’, which is the 2nd phase of the already established site Earlham Square based in East London. The brief was to create something bold that would appeal to first times buyers that work within the city.

Vibrant colour overload
Our aim was to create a vibrant playful interior with a bold injection of colour within the space. We opted for a strong yellow for the walls within the living area, with the addition of blue sofas to complement the overall space.
The use of black furniture and a black and white rug adds contrast within the space, adding the playful dramatic feeling to the room. The use of dressing items within the room adds to the overall customer journey of the show apartment, adding a sense of ‘set design’, enabling potential buyers to imagine themselves living within the apartment.
Use of artwork within the room adds to the playfulness of the overall design. We chose to use personalised artwork relevant to the local area, adding extra character to the room.

Dark moody retreat
We wanted the bedroom to juxtapose the living space to create a moody interior that the potential buyers could envision unwinding in after a day at work. We opted for dark grey walls with a feature slatted wallpaper to the headboard to frame the bed nicely within the room.
