The Development

Located next to the Beam River, Beam Park is a joint venture with L&Q New Homes comprising 1- and 2-bedroom apartments and 4-bedroom houses.

£1bn regeneration that will deliver 3,000 new houses and apartments

A scheme of this scale and longevity needed stand out. ThinkBDW designed and constructed a double height 24m x 12m sales centre that incorporated two show apartments; however, this was a development with more sales messages than could be done justice with a conventional brochure. A dedicated development magazine was therefore created in order to make the whole Beam Park ‘story’ visually more interesting and engaging. This included comprehensive information about the vision for the scheme and the area’s extensive regeneration, its features and planned amenities, and local area information – in addition to information about Countryside.

Most successful sales launch to date

The biggest challenge was delivering a 24m x 12m double height marketing suite that included two show apartments. The installation was further complicated by the fact that the structure had to sit above a flood plain. Despite some unexpected technical challenges all items were delivered in time and on budget and definitely contributed to Countryside’s most successful sales launch to date.

The Results

Beam Park launched at the beginning of May 2019 and 23 sales were secured over the opening weekend; the highest opening weekend for a Countryside development. Interest and sales of Phase 1 continue to exceed expectations with most of the initial release of houses sold.
