When creating a new development, it’s vital to keep the public informed about plans and progress. To this end, the CGI team at ThinkBDW was asked to produce five CGIs to illustrate the planned Countesswells’ development in Aberdeen.
The Countesswells Consortium had proposed a new community of 3,000 new homes on a 400 acre site, and wanted to hold a public consultation as part of the planning process. We created a series of images to sell the concept of the development, highlighting the beautiful countryside and proposed sympathetic landscaping all around including trees, parkland and a babbling brook.
These lifestyle-led images also promoted the child-friendly ambience of the site. Our images formed part of the planning application, which was approved by Aberdeen City Council in October 2014.
